Trainers will always cater to your needs with different teaching styles and formats. Most sessions fall under this 4-step process:

4. Homework and Q&A

Before the session ends, the trainer will give you homework. This will help you retain and implement everything that you've learned. Some examples could be “Throw 100 fireballs on each side per day” or “Practice going online and winning with X move.” Additionally, you’ll be able to ask any questions you might have.

3. Application Set

After you've seen the holes in your game and how to patch them, you will try to apply what you've learned in a set with the trainer. But don't worry, you aren't expected to master what you've just learned. 

2. Training Mode

The trainer will go over core concepts that will help you improve. Topics can range from efficiently using your time in training mode to fully understanding your normal attacks and optimizing damage opportunities. 

1. Diagnostic Set

You'll begin by playing a few rounds against your trainer. This helps them find your weaknesses and strengths to begin helping you improve.
